I am a new expat that moved with my wife and child to Lisbon over the course of the year and when this covid crisis hit I was not prepared.  We had some tylenol in the house just in case but are missing n95 masks and latex gloves.  All the stores near me are closed except for the Pingo Doce and they do not sell the masks.   We are expats so we do not know many people.   Can you advise us on the stores or places to purchase both surgical gloves and respirator masks?

Hi Noah. We got lucky purchasing the n95 masks from our local farmacia. You can go to the any pharmacy and ask the person behind the counter. Just ask the pharmacist:
você vende máscara
Do you sell masks.
Many pharmacist speak English so just ask if they do.
We had to go to a few different ones but finally found one that was selling them. The prices ranged from 1.5 euro to 2 euros per mask. You can also order in bulk online via aliexpress but expect delievery in 40-days.
I also checked El Corte Ingles in Sao Sebastiao. They had them but you had to buy packs of 50 at a time for 50 Euros.
