Christmas is a very different holiday in Lisbon than it is in the United States. It is usually spent at home with family. This means that finding a restaurant offering Christmas Lunch and Christmas dinner can be challenging. I’ve put a list of restaurants (the majority of them are in hotels) in Lisbon offering both this year.

Restaurants In Lisbon Offering Christmas Brunch/Lunch
Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon – Pedro Leitão Ballroom

Main dishes for The Four Season’s Christmas brunch will include lobster consommé, yuzu and lemon-grass, cod confit with sweet pepper La Vera, roasted onion, New Zealand spinach and roasted kid with wild mushrooms, carrots, pickles, coriander.

Real Palacio Hotel Lisbon

There were not many details about the dishes that will be served at Real Palacio’s Christmas lunch, but you can always give them a call for details.

The Emerald House

There were not many details about the dishes that will be served at the Emerald House for Christmas Brunch on December 25th. I have a feeling it will be at their “A Mesa” Restaurant. Bunch will run from 11:00 am to 3:00 PM. I’ve been there and everything was fab.

Maxime Restaurant Lisbon

Maxime Restaurant’s Christmas dinner will consist of a prix fixe including (but not limited to) dishes such as shrimp veloute, bacalhau, duck vol au vent, and a hazelnut mousse.

Le Chat is one of the few restaurants in Lisbon that is not part of a hotel offering Christmas dinner. They have an incredible view too. Their 3-course Prix Fixe Christmas dinner menu allows you to pick from various dishes such as sautéed octopus, roast beef, and more. It includes white, rose, or red wine (of their choosing), beer, water, sodas, and coffee. There is an option for open bar for just 15€ extra.

Citron Lebanese Kitchen

This authentic Lebanese restaurant in the Baixa neighborhood of Lisbon (very close to Cais do Sodre) is offering a Christmas Eve dinner of 3-courses including drinks. Dishes will include a selection of mezzo, a main course – choice of stuffed Oriental chicken or porcini risotto with beef shanks, dessert and a bottle of wine for 2. Dinner starts at 7pm.
