Antonio Evans Staff asked 7 years ago We were staying at the Real Palacio and wanted to go to Cervejaria Ramiro which was only 2 km away. A quick search on mapquest suggested we take Avenida LuÃs BÃvar and Rua Gomes Freire.to the restaurant. We started walking and after about 20 minutes we became uncomfortable. Before reaching our destination, we hailed a taxi and asked to be taken back to the hotel. Was this area really a bad area or did we over react? Many thanks in advance for your reply.
