Firstly, thank you for all the time and effort you’ve put in to creating such an incredibly useful resource here. It’s great.
Secondly, I was wondering if you could confirm which moving company you used to ship your things from the US to Portugal. We will be moving from California to Lisbon in July and are finalising our mover. I saw a reference in one of your blogs to having a bad experience with your company, so wanted to check which one it was specifically (especially as a lot of them have such similar names), and why it was so bad.

I hope I am not too late in getting back to you. I used Sea & Air, but I do not recommend them. My experience with them was awful. The communication was horrid, they ended up charging us significantly more, and didn't explain that the company that would get our container from customs here in Portugal was separate from them and that there would be an large extra fee that we would have to pay them. There was more, but these were the biggest issues.
If you have already moved, I hope you are having a wonderful time in Portugal.
