Thank you for the information on the (A2) CAPLE exam. I have been studying Portuguese for about 8 months now, but it occurred that's not the same thing as preparing for the exam. I hope to move to Portugal in two to three years, and making it permanent. I'm an American, in Oklahoma City.
My question is about online courses for preparing for the exam. Have you heard anything about them, good or bad? I know the Lusa Language School offers exam prep.

I'm a little late in geting back to you, sorry about that. But since you're not moving here for another 2 years, maybe I'm not too late.
Yeah, those courses should be just fine. I have a private tutor, so I don't have first hand experience with the schools, but they have a good reputation.
