I have read your article regarding NHR application here in Portugal, and went on to request advice from tax consultants.
Finally got a consultation but there is one thing that has me worried. They are asking for my login credentials to the Portal das Finanças so they are able to submit the application over on my behalf.
That is a security concern for me, I have never shared my login credentials for anything, but maybe that is the way it needs to be done here. I am aware there is the possibility to appoint a representative in the Portal das Finanças site, but I am not sure the limitations of it.
My question for you is, how did your advisor/lawyer approached the issue and if you have had to share login credentials to get assistance with tax matters here.
