Housing Contact Request

Hi there,

My name is Gabriel Bushnell and I am a current Master’s student at the University of Arizona in the United States. I came across your housing article and figured I'd reach out, even if you may not be a direct contact. Before Coronavirus was in our awareness, I was planning on completing an internship/volunteer experience in Portugal and using the experience as class credit. I am a current Master’s of Legal Studies student with an emphasis on housing inequality and urban planning. I understand these are not ideal times to be traveling, but I decided I do still want to pursue moving abroad for a semester if I find an organization that would help me grow professionally. I would most likely try and move sometime in February or March of 2021.

Currently Portugal still is accepting Visa’s for “essential travel” which I believe an internship/volunteer visa would qualify as. I wanted to reach out just in case you knew of some urban planning/housing justice organizations or individuals that would be good to reach out to. I would love to help and learn from anyone who is in the fight for housing justice. If you know of any people who may have a moment to chat with me to discuss any opportunities available, I’d appreciate it! Hope your week is going well.
