Antonio Evans Staff asked 6 years ago I'll be in Lisbon 2-nights at the end of May. I am historian by trade. Okay not by trade but I am a historian. Where do I go to experience the Portuguese history?

Antonio Evans Staff answered 6 years ago You walk the streets in the Alfama or Mouraria areas. Think about the earthquake that leveled the city in 1755. Everything here is from before that. I would then you walk into a cafe. Look up. Do you see the tiles above the espresso machine? Yeah that's original. Small things will tell you the history of the Tugas. Enjoy!
