My husband and I plan to retire and move to Lisbon. We are currently in USA.
What are the steps to apply for NHR?
Can we start the process while we are here in USA? or do we need to be in Portugal to apply?
If we have to be in Portugal to apply, what type of visa should we get first?
We would like to get a lawyer to help us with the paperwork. Do you have any recommendation?
