Lourdes asked 5 years ago I need to find a stable where they let out horses for leisurely riding. I grew up in Argentina riding and was hoping to continue doing it here. I live near Saldanha station but I also have car so I can drive outside of the city. I love horses and this would be the extra piece of happiness for my new found home of Lisboa! Thank you.

About 15 minutes by car from Lisbon in Póvoa de Santo Adrião there is a riding school. They offer both beginners and advanced riding lessons. They're not cheap, but when you consider what you are getting, it's not bad either. Prices start at 750€. The last number I saw listed for this riding school near Lisbon was 351 967-075-520. They offer 3 packages:
A - One week, one lesson per day
B - One week, 2 lessons per day
Short week-end
