Antonio Evans Staff answered 6 years ago I would suggest for first time traveler do a 4-day Lisboa and a 3-day local sights. Why I say 4-days. Day 1, jet lag and getting lay of the land. You probably will eat locally and begin to get aclimated. Day 2. Site like Belem or Cascias. Day 3. Do downtown and walk through chiado (maybe do that day 1. who knows). Day 4. Go to other side of river and see what Lisboa use to look like. Days 5,6,7 some day trips an hour away. Go up north once, visit Alentejo and then just spend one last day soaking it all in.
