Antonio Evans Staff asked 6 years ago We're looking forward to a week in Lisbon in Feb but can't decide which neighbourhood to stay in? We'd like to self cater in an apartment and there's just the two of us, we love the culture and food and have been holidaying on the Eastern Algarve for years, we love to eat with the locals and definately do not want an English breakfast ha ha, would love some advice to those who have already visited. Blanca Valbuena Staff answered 6 years ago In Lisbon if you want local, check out Santos, Estrela, and Campo de Ourique. While still touristy and with plenty of options on things to do, they haven't been as discovered as say Baixa, the Alfama, or Bairro Alto...and I definitely don't think that you'll find any place offering English Breakfast in any of those Lisbon neighborhoods.
