Antonio Evans Staff answered 6 years ago For the Estoril stop you do have to get out of a gate so you will have to swipe your Via Viagem card. Once you swipe you will be out of the system. So sadly, yes you will have to pay twice. The concept of the ticket is that for the 1,45 Euro you have 1 consecutive hour you are allowed to use the metro. With only one entry. So once you leave it you have to pay another 1,45. Enjoy Estoril. The casino is nice.
