Antonio Evans Staff asked 6 years ago My husband and I are looking to go to Lisbon to begin house hunting. We are a gay couple and not sure if that is an issue in Lisbon. I work in Technology and he works as a designer remotely. So just beginning the search. Where is there a gay friendly area that we could maybe have an outside area, big kitchen and dog friendly. Antonio Evans Staff answered 5 years ago Lisbon is pretty gay-friendly I believe. I know lots of same sex couples and people don't look twice at them holding hands or being intimate in public. I have been told Santos and Principe Real are quite gay friendly but I cannot tell. People mind their business here and usually don't harrass you.
