There are tons of shops for shoes in Lisbon. Depends on what you want. Here are a few: for second hand, check out Humana Shops – there are multiple throughout the city. If you’re on a budge and want new, Primark at Colombo Mall or Seaside shops (there are lots throughout the city – this […]
Yup. Uber is alive and well in Lisbon. works the same way as other countries, but taxis hate them, so when you book an uber, don’t schedule them to pick you up next to the taxi queue.
The Oceanarium is wonderful, that would be my first choice. I know it sounds weird, but you can always go to the movies…most of them are in English.
Hey Jack, I’ve been taking classes with Nuno David. He’s certified, very patient and fairly priced. I take one on one 1-hour classes with him twice a week and he is fantastic. Best way to reach him is here https://www.facebook.com/nuno.nuno.1048554
If you’re coming to visit Lisbon and want to take home your not-so-average souvenirs, then you need to visit the Feira da Ladra, Lisbon’s Flea Market. Most people think it’s named after thieves, but it’s actually named after the ladro a bug that is found in old furniture. This is the place where you can find a […]

I need some legal advice for immigration issues in Portugal. Preferabbly his office would be in Lisboa or near Belem. English speaking is a must.

First time visitor? I’d stay in Alfama. Get the full vibe of Portugal.
Churches will sell these. Lots of trader shops sell these. Most are made in China. Just go to Fatima or any big churches gift store. Notice I said a gift store? The last place I went in Rossio sold Pope sandal copies. It’s all fake, sorry.
El Corte Ingles or Le Redoute or Ikea. All different price points.
You walk the streets in the Alfama or Mouraria areas. Think about the earthquake that leveled the city in 1755. Everything here is from before that. I would then you walk into a cafe. Look up. Do you see the tiles above the espresso machine? Yeah that’s original. Small things will tell you the history […]
